And with Microsoft’s AI assistant (Copilot) now available directly in each Microsoft app, it’s time for users to dream bigger, think bolder, dare greater.

The Challenge

Before this campaign, most people had heard of Microsoft 365, but considered it a work tool. Microsoft’s goal was to shift market perception, showing consumers how their apps could empower them in their personal lives too. The challenge was to show this while also highlighting the in-app benefits of Microsoft’s new AI assistant, Copilot.

Campaign Expansion

After the initial campaign launched, I was brought on to creative direct the campaign’s expansion into international and student markets, lead the social and digital campaign, and produce two new videos—this time with a security focus. It was a small, nimble team made up of some of the campaign’s pioneers (shoutout Melissa Ditson, Jessica Ercanbrack, and Stephanie Matsen!), plus new faces. This evolution targeted a new audience and focused on Microsoft 365’s security benefits.

The ‘More Power To You’ campaign was a smashing success, significantly boosting consumer awareness and aiding in a record 89 million consumer subscriptions—plus an 11% leap (or $756 million growth) in consumer cloud revenue.
